It depends on the private school. Your cheap ones that are less than 10k/year will not have much security, but your schools that are 11k plus have more. So yes, money is a factor. Our 17k/yr private school is locked down, with literal armed gaurds. The cheap 5k/yr church private school 5 miles from us has nothing. Anyone who thinks public schools have more funds than private obviously has no idea how little money public schools have for resources and for each student, which is why the high end private schools have better resources. I worked in public schools and also know high-end private schools well, the difference is vast. Money is the key, period.
