Agreed. But I think that's because you are seeing the same studio interference that brought down the Batman franchise in the mid-90s. First off, I have no freaking clue what these suits saw in Snyder. He's always been a hit-or-miss director and the underwhelming critical and commercial response to Man of Steel should have convinced them not to allow Snyder to turn that film into a launching pad for his own DC Cinematic Universe.

At the very least, they could have waited until AFTER the release of Batman vs. Superman to greenlight his Justice League film. Had they done that, they could have made the necessary changes BEFORE a single scene was shot instead of trying to change the film almost entirely in post-production.
