fricking Gentry

sheesh. only Pels talk can take a post about a young player's growth and turn it into a "blame the coach" rant

Give him 22 minutes, likelihood is that he'd reach 8/8.

perhaps. also, what about fouls and blown assignments?

sickening to think what if we gave him 15 minutes a game WITH boogie available

maybe Diallo could have done that and they blew it. also, maybe he wasn't ready to do that 2 months ago.

you know, he just might be playing better b/c of, not in spite of, the work he and the staff have done this season.

Because this isn't something new. We have been saying this for months. It's literally something Wesley and Myers have saying. You can't develop guys if they don't play. A desperate coach resorts to 8 player lineups in the regular season.

It's going to happen. Hell even 15 minutes I'm sure there's a ton, but it's something every coach who develop players live with. That's part of the game.

It's not like they were sooooo phenomenal defensively otherwise. We had a ton of blown assignments.

Learning vs doing. There's a balance between both, gentry totally ignored development on the court for more veterans presence with lower ceilings. It's been that way since day 1
