In a "normal world", someone like Clinton is such damaged goods that she's never a viable candidate. In a "normal world", a hard left borderline communist like Bernie Sanders isn't anywhere close to a realistic candidate.

Also, in a "normal world" (20 years ago), someone like Hilary Clinton is able to peddle her bullshite with impunity.

The Trump Campaign used the Democrat Party's own weapons against them and they had no idea how to respond. It's like the smallest kid at school going up to a bully and punching him in the dick with brass knuckles, then doing it again when the bully regains his composure. Everyone else standing around is both grateful that someone finally did it and in shock that it actually happened.

Don't make the mistake of confusing Hilary Clinton with Bill Clinton. 1992-2000 Bill Clinton would be further to the right of most of today's Republicans.
