re: what issues did Russia successfully change the minds of Americans to get trump elected?

I find the fact that so many were duped into voting for the Fraud, Obama; who was so transparently unqualified and radical to be far more disturbing than any Russian propaganda.

You measure the success of whatever Russian involvement there was by the fact that Trump won.

And that's on both sides

yet you still maintain an elitist attitude with your concluding statement.

Education is becoming a tired meme

Education is very important. No doubt. The problem is that education doesn’t always teach those about the real world until the real world is actually experienced. I have both an undergraduate and graduate degree and STILL have a lot to learn in my field. With that being said, I know people who never even went to college who are still extremely successful in their careers because of work ethic. To me, that’s what is killing our education system....victimhood and entitlement....instead of earning that success. Take a look at some of our colleges today. Safe spaces? Are you freaking kidding me? How about challenging life face to face?
Yes, you may get a job in the real world with an education. But you’ll get run off the second your supervisor hurts your fee fees, and you go run into your safe space.

Nobody except democrat hacks have said "the Russian objective" succeeded, or even had any appreciable impact.
Your reference to the FBI, at best, is being greatly exaggerated by yourself.
Can you admit that Trump won legitimately? It's a fact, so it should be simple.

Not sure how that makes me feel better, as I don't care one way or the other if you agree with my statement.

Nice generalization. As someone who works in higher education, I see plenty of people getting degrees that don't mean as much as I'd like them to mean. And no, every company in our capitalist society doesn't value it. There are many companies that take people without higher education and still pay fairly well. Anecdotally, I can point to several people without a college degree making close to six figures a year. At the same time, I can point to many, with a college degree, earning $35 or less. Again, the education meme is tired.

quote:I agree. Education is no substitute for experience and experience is no substitute for education. The best candidates typically have both unless their genius is so transcendent that it no longer matters.
The problem is that education doesn’t always teach those about the real world until the real world is actually experienced.
quote:Of course. Same boat...
I have both an undergraduate and graduate degree and STILL have a lot to learn in my field.
quote:Absolutely. But we have to have *some* metrics. I learned things in school that allowed me to take advantage of my experience in ways I never could otherwise.
ith that being said, I know people who never even went to college who are still extremely successful in their careers because of work ethic
quote:Perhaps but I would caution you from taking isolated cases that round the Cable News circuit and assuming its typical. Freaking out about the way 18-22 year olds handle stress and problems is not all that productive. With life experience these things will work themselves out.

You might not agree with it but it isn't like this country has always been a "work harder and be better than the competition and you will succeed". We had institutional discrimination that included violence and murder to go along with inequality in opportunity. You are no better than the "safe space" crowd if you put your head in the sand and pretend there isn't a historical basis for this belief.
How about challenging life face to face?
quote:I'm not a millenial so I can't speak to it. That said, as with all generations you have folks that are successful and capable and folks that get in their own way. The older folks have been freaking out about the behavior of new generations in the work place for as long as our economy has existed.

quote:Of course there are exceptions. But those folks would undoubtedly tell you themselves that they would have had an easier road in the job market if they had checked the boxes that recruiting professionals use as basic metrics. I get contacted via Linkedin for unsolicited interviews multiple times every single week simply because of my education and certifications. The interview is where they will evaluate where my experience is applicable but the opportunity is presented because I have valuable metrics to go along with my experience.
Anecdotally, I can point to several people without a college degree making close to six figures a year.

Did Russia hack CNN? Cause that's who got me to vote Trump.
Posted on 2/10/18 at 1:18 am to Tigerdev
The fact that the investigation you reference is not nearly as focused on that campaign you lose sleep over as you hope it is, is the truly telling part.
And the fact that that investigation's legitimacy is falling apart daily makes your head in the sand comment especially ironic.

Yeah, back during the Jim Crow era in the early 1960s. Today, opportunity is a lot more reachable if you allow it to be. The problem is that people just don’t want to take the chance and play “victim” when things don’t do their way. Failure sucks. We can all agree on that. But sometimes it takes failure to open yourself up to success later.

Dev is doing mental gymnastics trying to:
A) validate Russian efforts
While
B) denying they had a drastic affect on the election
While
C) saying the Russians affected Americans with info
While
D) not affecting democrats, just solely affecting people not exclusively Democrat
While
E) ads bought are pro BLM
while
F) Dem Senators were working with Russian Oligarchs to find info on Trump working with Russian oligarchs...
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Not right in the head...at all

Anecdotally, the ones I'm speaking of would have not. You seem to be resigned to the fact that, in order for someone to land a good job, ithey need to have a college degree. That is true is some cases but not all. Many jobs that require no college degree pay just as well, if not better, than jobs that require one. Add to that the fact that many college graduates end up in jobs that pay below the national median salary.

You take meme to represent a joke, yet didn't pick up how it was implied in my posts. In regards to my post, education served as a vehicle by the left to continue to show their superiority to the right because they believe they, whether true or not, posses it in greater numbers than the right. As a result, this leads to them belittling those who don't have a higher education. Hence, the meme part of "education meme."

You are too entrenched in your political support to let it play out. Its resulted in two indicatments of senior campaign officials. If the same happened to Obama you wouldnt be able to talk about anything else.

Well, the only reason we have investigation is because Hillary colluded with foreign spies to invent information about him, then the FBI used that invention to spy on him, then used it as validation for a special council for investigation, where the same exact people who already spied on him were selected to investigate him...
Based on pertends...shite 3 year olds do...

I specifically said you there are exemptions but asserted that professional jobs requiring a degree is the norm. If you want to misrepresent my post for expediency feel free but we can't continue to discuss if that's how you do things

Understanding requires empathy. You are being quite dismissive of the experiences of others which will make it impossible to see both sides here
