Chill out - Allow the 2018 football season to play out before bailing out

Coach O has committed to building a championship by building up LSU in the trenches. This is the first season in a long, long time that I can remember where LSU has the muscle to move people out and dominate the line on defense.
And LSU finally has the QB talent that is somewhat comparable to Mettenberger's. Few saw the possibility of LSU's championship under Saban and Miles, it appears few see the possibility of this one too. LSU has what it had under both, a QB and ferocious Dline.

Fans are still in the "shock stage". Once it sets in, we'll be off to next season;
NSD wasn't handled in the best way, but the truth boils down to one recruit. He's very good, but doesn't make or break our class
I agree with your positives on this class and the team.
Remember our last National Championship came to a 2 loss LSU team. Never give in or give up. " It's the " Heart of the dog in the fight".

We're always looking ahead optimistically and it falls flat on our face. 2 months ago we were staring at 10 wins and a potiential top 10 class. Then we lose the ND game, O fires the OC, and we have the worst recruiting class in a long time. Next year it'll be the same, we'll be hearing good things from Fall practice, start feeling optimistic and it'll fall on our face again.

We have no option to let it play out but O is very obviously in over his head. The longer we let him try and learn how to be a coach on the job, the farther we fall behind the elites.
I don’t blame O. I would have taken the job too. Alleva has to be fired though this year though.

The problem with CEO is that he’s made some dumbass personnel decisions that have really pissed off the fan base.
If he fails, everyone will say, ah ha, I told you so!
