It’s not that hard to figure out. He loses. He’s lost to Bama 2 straight seasons and doesn't challenge for titles. Surtain said it’s about the w’s and l’s. O got too many of one and not enough of the other.

If it was as simple as that he would have been all over Alabama 2 or 3 years ago and not been so ingrained with Corey Raymond and the LSU program. Alabama never really entered the picture until a few weeks ago.
The want to win championships mantra was just a smokescreen There were other factors at play in the decision. This was not simply an impressionable kid being all over the board .
I am not saying Saban and Alabama did anything illegal nor do I disagree a young athlete can sign wherever he chooses. LSU has been both the beneficiary and the loser in these last minute flips. This one is different and the young man was not very convincing that he really wants to go to Alabama.
