Had been working in NY, & hadn't laid eyes on her in 3 months. Plan was to pick her up at the airport in Buffalo, drive straight to stateside of Niagara Falls, walk over to the river, get down by the water & (already on a knee) say what's this, pull the ring out of the water...and ask her.
I didn't make it out of the arriving flight terminal before already asking her.
