That is MUCH more likely than the corporate and TAF crowd realize.

Bought tickets for every single home game this year in the lower bowl the week of the game.

Spent a little over $300 total for the season.

Unless you are in love with a certain seat, people paying TAF fees just so they can get season tickets are crazy.

BINGO and Life will be much better and less stressful worrying about the hassle of dumping tickets to crappy games.

We aren't in the same hemisphere as Alabama at this point with talent and coaching. It will take a miracle or a couple of strong recruiting classes to even get close.

Yes. Stanford was terrible then, and USC a national title contender.

What I'm saying is that Stanford had a great coach. That's why they won the game. Orgeron doesn't beat teams with more talent than LSU. He just out-talents inferior programs (besides Troy obviously).

We'll see the effect of the recruiting disparities firsthand in Tiger Stadium this fall when we play UGA and Bama. There's no way around it: they will have better players than us. Only coaching could overcome that talent disparity. Um, yikes.

Oh yeah, not arguing that. But the talent disparity between LSU now and Stanford then was greater than the coaching disparity, wide as the coaching disparity may be. It's rightfully one of the biggest upsets of all time.

They are more talented, always better prepared, and by far better coached.

Better prepared and coached?? Yes.

More talented?? Not sure I totally agree.

Why? Because for what, 2-3 years we've had more players in the NFL than them? And I'm predicting that we're about to have 4-5 undrafted guys (Herron, Gilmore, Lac to name a few) that will make a team and be playing snaps. That's because scouts know that they're getting kids from LSU who are NFL players who just weren't developed or utilized properly.
