During a radio appearance Monday, Veterans Affairs whistleblowers Germaine Clarno and Dr. Lisa Nee claimed that Rep. Tammy Duckworth did little to respond to their claims of mistreatment of veterans and corruption within the Hines VA.

According to their allegations, Duckworth was largely unresponsive to evidence related to veteran mistreatment and inadequate investigations conducted by the VA's inspector general.

Clarno claimed that, although she approached Duckworth "many" times, the congresswoman did little to respond to her claims.

"I never felt that [Duckworth] wanted to hear exactly what was going on," Clarno said. “I really thought going to Tammy Duckworth, that she would be the one who would stand up and say this has got to stop.”

As someone who had a doctor at Hines VA tell me that I wasn't a priority after having a surgery date set in stone for months. frick her.

Hines VA is beyond bad.

It's getting way out of hand on both sides. Hell, even local politicians are getting into the act. We have had a left-wing version of Arden Wells here in Ponchatoula with Vinny Mendoza. He ran against Scalise for CD1 but unlike Wells doesn't run for every office under the sun. He sure liked to remind everyone he served in the Air Force. Yet he didn't really do anything and didn't impress many vets such as myself.

Then there was Pat Farris who prominently displayed his single Navy-Marine Corps Achievement Medal on his campaign flyers. He didn't like my comment on Facebook and promptly banned me from commenting when I asked: "I have four Army Achievement Medals, does that make me more qualified to run for 7th Ward Marshall?"
