Private enterprise does this all the fricking time. Your entire life is revolving around this. You see that thing in your pocket that you likely replied to my post? Only possible thanks to the work of NASA. It's thanks to the miracle of NASA that we have the society that we currently live in. It's no coincidence that the kids who saw the moon landing went on to found the digital age.
