I went in 2016. You pay to get into a block party basically. They metal detect everyone and you can’t walk around with drinks. The parades are cheesy but the bars are fun and there’s a nice mix of single people and families.

Do you think it’s worth going to? I’m going to visit some family in Houston and we were thinking about going to the parade
