Hey Derek, do you know enough about football to understand that a full time offensive coordinator has duties that extend beyond what an interim OC does? And that being a playcaller is in no way comparable to installing your own offense in the offseason and performing all of the duties related to that? The fact that you’re so close to the program and still so clueless is

he doesn't.

he thinks O recruiting for Pete Carroll's USC program is the same as o recruiting for his own program.

I don't know if it is the same. If you mean by quality of classes it may just turn out to be better.

Why 5-star OL Kardell Thomas shut down his recruitment

Around 5 p.m. on Saturday, the bulk of LSU’s unofficial visitors for elite junior day were on their way out the door.

Not Kardell Thomas.

Thomas, the No. 1 guard in the Class of 2019 and a longtime LSU commitment, remained in coach Ed Orgeron’s office along with his parents. Consider this a key moment in his recruitment.

On Monday night, the 5-star lineman opted to shut down his recruitment and honor the responsibility Orgeron passed onto him. He’s sticking with the Tigers and credits that meeting in the coach’s office as to why.

“When people went to their position coaches, I talked 1-on-1 with Coach O, which made it clear I’m a priority,” Thomas recalled. “Coach Cregg showed me a couple of backgrounds of guys he coached. I was getting to know him personally. We watched some highlights and he showed his background with guys like Tyron Smith. He’s a fired-up coach. Every word he says is electrifying; it’s a lot like Coach O. He’s always fired up, always about football. It was great to get to know James Cregg.”

Sorry, to post this. I know people can't stand good news relating to LSU. Maybe I should have done a spoiler alert so you wouldn't have read it. Again, sorry for the positive shite.
