Based on the information you provided me with, I assume your friend realizes that to develop a validated conscience, he must first learn who he truly is by answering the question "who am I?" Therefore developing this conscience is a lifelong process that constantly changes through the things we learn and the experiences we have and the way we perceive these experiences and turn them into our logic. To validate his conscience more he must continue to this process stated above.

Thank you for that. Actually, I read your post aloud to my friend and he went to Barnes & Noble right after to purchase that book by that author (his first name escapes me) O’Malley about conscience development
