Were they really that passive in the first half of game 1 though? I recall them having like 15 or 16 shots. That's not what I call passive.

Not in the least. Lillard was doubled off the screen on about 75% of the possessions he had and that kept him from gaining any rhythm. CJ couldn't get any clean looks because of it.
