When did it become illegal to want to fire someone? I often want to fire people after situations that anger me. Thank god for the legal and HR people who I have on my team to consult with. The man is a human being with real human emotions. I can understand why he would be frustrated and angry. If we all had to live under the scrutiny with attacks coming everyday we’d all be inclined to be angry at times and lash. Also if someone on my team let out details of private discussions involving possible actions we “might” take I would terminate them immediately.

It just looks bad when you are firing the person investigating you. Makes you look guilty, but it's not illegal.

And in the end, Mueller was NOT fired.

If ever something was a nothingburger, this is it. With extra cheese and onions.

Maybe I'm reading the article wrong but didnt Trump actually order McGhann to fire Muller but he refused. Thats a bit different than Trump was just thinking about it.

I say again, that’s why you keep people around you to assist you in your decisions and stress consequences should you go through with your intended actions. This is like saying someone is guilty of murder of a a guy he was pissed off at because they told their wife they were going to do it but she said she was going to divorce him if he did, so in the end he didn’t kill the guy.

Yeah. And not only is the would be murderer in this scenario not guilty of murder, but he also seems to have the perfect temperament to be President of the United States. Is he real? Republicans should start grooming him for 2024 in case Pence doesn’t work out!
