I grew up in North TX and was 11 at the time I guess. I vividly remember being woken up to the windows in our house shaking. I was always interested in geology/general science, so naturally I ran out of my room to wherever my mom was screaming “is this an earthquake?”
my dad actually still has a tiny metal piece of the wreckage he found over in East Texas. just a terrible situation all around
