I grew up in Old Goodwood and Jefferson Place so I ate all over there. Giamancos has great seafood, Italian and steaks. Loved it. His brother owned Suburban Garden’s in Alexandria and it was just the same.
Go to Tic Toc to get shoes fixed, Young Fashions for a suit and either Piccadilly Westmoreland or Jay’s BBQ for lunch.
Egg salad sandwiches for $.25 on Friday’s in a wax paper bag from Joe’Ds and eat at Goodwood Park.
I can’t for the life of me remember a grumpy bartender that brought down the house. Only bar and pizza was Fleur De Lis.
