actually cheaper than what gatortail quoted me for a similar setup.
Same. People say the Prodigy's are so expensive but they haven't priced a gatortail rig. I knew I was getting a prodigy but just for shits and gigs I went ahead and got a quote from gatortail. Gatortail would not put on gatorglide, they would not put shark eye running lights, I didn't get a quote with interior lighting, underwater lights, I don't think they offer recessed flooring, no blind, didn't include 4 cup holders and maybe something else. With ALL of that, the prodigy was STILL cheaper and Prodigy's black grass paint job is better than anything gatortail has. I got way more for less and I feel like prodigy makes a better boat in general. Gatortail motors are unbeatable though.

If you planning on using the boat for more than duck hunting, get a surface drive.
If it’s going to be mainly used for duck hunting, get a mud boat.
