You want a dwelling-3 policy. That's the correct policy type for insuring a rental property. Contact an independent agent...should look at Gulfstream, Lighthouse, UPC, and ASI. All of those carriers write policies that include wind/hail.
Almost anyone is better the LA Citizens. Besides Citizens' service sucking, they don't offer liability coverage or loss of rent coverage on their dwelling policies.
