One of the world's most recognizable / famous butchers (dario cecchini) is also from that region. His shop and the connect restaurant is also worth the time.

That you all very much for the responses. Does anyone have any info about the Galelio museum. It's certainly not one of the top museums there but I'd like to get some opinions on it. (We are going to go to the main museums there. Just was curious about this one. ). Thanks

Dario was interesting. The dinner fun but the meat was nothing special and if you’re like me and don’t like rare meat it’s even less special.

I think we went into that one. It has some early stuff of his. It won’t take long to go through so I suggest you go through it.

I enjoyed the Galileo museum....telescopes, scientific instruments, and many pages of his journals on display. His detailed drawings of the moon as seen thru his telescope were amazing. Made me think about a scientists absolute need to sketch well in the pre photography days. Somewhere I have a photo of a page on which he started writing a shopping list in the middle of his notes: zucchero, sale, etc.
