1. The headline would suggest his family/friends were not tolerant of him being gay. Seeing as they are, it’s inclusion is both confusing and irrelevant to the point the author is attempting to write about. This board claims to hate when people use their sexuality/status as a qualification.

2. You don’t enjoy the irony about the BA in painting? I found it hilarious.

3. I hope you realize those are precisely the opinion based generalized stories I was referring. “Poor me; they don’t have time for me anymore because I’m a republican” Are you kidding me? These are all things he himself deduced, obviously...which of course, is an opinion. Take this example: “everyone on TD board hates me because I’m a veteran”. 100% an opinion I could have, and write about, with a click bait title.

This is such a frustrating conversation. Your insistence on propping up a garbage piece, on a issue where we actually agree, is astounding. Pieces like this are horrible, and deserve to go straight into the trash.

If you’ll notice, HHM stopped criticizing after I pointed out the flaws, and the fact that I actually agree that liberals can be intolerant despite the rhetoric.
