The Saints offense is what LSU’s offense is supposed to look like. Run the ball and then pass it. Of course this requires a good QB which we haven’t had since 2007

Air Coryell. The vertical offense . We had it with Cam Cameron but at that time our defense sucked balls

Well there was Mett. Tragically, LSU managed one fricking good year out of Mett, and it happened to correspond with the worst defense since 1999 so it was wasted.

It’s really pitiful that it took so long, and so many NFL players around him, just to make Mett productive. That’s the true testament to the awfulness of LSU offense.

The program is just destined to have terrible offenses no matter what.

Most of the time, the Saints still use the pass to open up the run. This year it's maybe 50/50.
