Any of you Houston baws from BR tried taking 105 > 12 > 190 lately? Over the Christmas break me and my wife did, of course we live in Spring, but it only took us 5 hours that route. Hardly no traffic. Smooth sailing.
The way I justify it is, 1 construction or wreck related backup on I10 and that route takes 5 + hours. Not to mention the almost permanent backup on I10E near the Mississippi Bridge. Crazy arse drivers. Millions of truckers.
