The problem with that is that the peer group of our parents (social friends, coworkers, neighbors..etc.) has expanded 1000% with our "peer" group being everyone you are friends with or follow.
During the holidays I was really upset/angry/depressed cause of stuff with my dad. There were several days(especially right before and on the actual holidays) where I had to just tell myself to stay away from fb. That seeing everyone's perfect posted Christmas pics (even though I know they all have their own struggles) was just gonna make me feel that much worse.
