I killed my limits for 2 days in Gueydan last week. Pintails, greenheads, teal. Me & 2 buddies got 13 birds it today in tensas for my last hunt of yr...mallards, woodies, blue bill, & teal. Saw tons of birds all week, good way to end the season.

In closing, I think it's important to add the Louisiana duck season opens a month too early.

The last two weekends we smashed limits but we are hunting along the river in S. Delta. Ducks did not arrive there until the big freeze just before new years and still not big numbers until MLK day. The usual routine the last 3-4 years is the ducks don't get there until the late season (janurary).
