Friend of mine stayed with his wife after she cheated, for the kids' sake. She went on to cheat again and ultimately they are now separated but living in the same house. She openly has a boyfriend and has best of both worlds while he sits on his fat arse in misery.

I tried to stay w her (for the kids) but ultimately could not get over the anger from her betrayal. We separated a year later.
I've said it on here before and will say it again. It sucked at the moment but ultimately it turned out to be the best thing to ever happen to me.

quote:That's what I did. But I was so fricking miserable that I realized the best chance for our son was for his mom & I not to be together anymore. It was a tough choice that I live with every day, because now I only get junior half the time, and he's my world. But I could never go back to faking it. That's an excruciating existence full of resentment and feeling like you're owed something that you'll never get.
