Interested in some feedback. Pros/cons? I currently have a SC Del Mar that I'll be parting with. It's changed my mind on Scotty's but want just a little more mallet. Really digging the 5.
TIA
TIA

I hit a few putts with one a couple of weeks ago. Personally, I go with an Evnroll over the SC

Not really familiar with these. They got a mallet that looks comparable to the Futura 5?

My golf spy top rates this thing every year from a tech stand point. It and the Ping Ketch are top of my list if I ever switch from my white hot #7

Might have to try and find one to roll. The $$ is kinda making me hesitant.

Yeah, they ain’t cheap. You can get a Ketch in a good shape on eBay.
From what I understand of Evnrolls is they aren’t on secondary markets for much of a discount, because people keep them. (That’s all hear-say)

Bettinardi >>> everything else.

If you like that Evnroll, look for a used Rife Barbados. Rife Guerrin started Evnroll and made the Rife putters.

Not the same same tech. Evnroll & Ping are actually putting tech in their putters.

I like my Futura 5, it's not my favorite, however. If you want/like the mallet design, I strongly suggest you seek only "face balanced" putters...

@RichJ - thanks! I was under the impression that the Futura 5/7 were both face balanced. IS that the case?
@Chappy - that video made a whole lot of sense. Now, do I want to give up 1.52 strokes and game a putter that doesn't say scotty
Question for you since you seem to have done your research - I am a ping queer as I been sold on their philosophy. Am I to understand that the Ping Kelsch had the technology and then no other Ping putter since has incorporated that tech? Doesn't seem like Ping to drop a tech that is proven. I ask, b/c I really dig the new Sigma series.

From my understanding, the Ping Vault was supposed to be the new Ketch. I’m not sure about the sigma.

Got it! Thanks. Will start my research there.
May 2018 be the year I go from 36 putts a round to 34.48 putts a round!
Found this on Golfwrx for those interested
"I just recent skimmed through the entire thread because I had a Vault and was looking into acquiring a Sigma. IMO, the TR grooves take away from the solid feel and feedback of a milled putter. The Vault has a nice feel, just not as crisp as the Redwoods or Anser Milled line. The Sigma gives the consumer more heads options and a better bang for your buck"

Not sure of the 7, but Futura 5 is face balanced...

Ping Craz-E is the absolute best putter I've ever used, and I've been through a bunch...

I liked that one and the Darby. Thus, I didn’t buy one today.

meet me at sonic, baw!
And I to went and played with the Sigma Tyne. Have a buyer lined up for my Scotty and then off to get the Tyne. That putter tech video made alot of sense, and I hit 3 shots off of the face of the Tyne (toe, center, heel) and they all went within an inch of each other. Most impressive "insert" putter I've found to date.

I just got back from Edwin Watts. Most definitely going with the Ping Tyne PP62 grip SBST swing profile. Ill probably counter balance it just a touch. Also putted with the Vault models they had and its a different feel, but not necessarily worth $100 more difference. Face looked identical though. A must try IMO out of all the offerings.
