Yesterday I paddled from my place to "the rocks". The marsh by Chef and the icww is loaded with ducks.
Some of it can be reached paddling, but would not paddle the icww in the dark. Near Lombard by Chico lagoon is a safer paddle.

Better watch yourself around chef pass and sauvage, icww etc.
all newly purchased land and being leased out. They are running fishermen out. I’m lucky enough to know a guy in it and we killed a few birds.
