I am, should have used the more accurate term of heading to the outlets, etc....

As mentioned above, shocks are usually not considered an extended warranty covered item. The only time I was able to get warranty out of shocks was directly from the shock manufacturer on a non-oem, lifetime shock and that was a pain.

Replaced the shocks on our suburban at 51K miles under extended warranty. Wife’s car, she doesn’t ease over speed bumps or curbs.
