Going to a concert at Cynthia woods pavilion in april. Was planning on staying 2 nights and catching an Astros game. How much would an uber or cab ride be from downtown Houston to the concert and back? Or should I stay one night in the woodlands and one in downtown Houston. Thanks

The Woodlands is a solid 40 minute drive from downtown area so unless your willing to fork out a ton of money for an Uber, I’d stay one night in the woodlands. I imagine a hotel would cost less than an Uber fare round trip

You can go into the Uber app, put in your pick up and drop off location, and get a fare estimate.
UberX is about ~$40 each way from Minute Maid area to the Pavillion.

I would guarantee uber will have surge pricing after the concert. So $40 to get you there and probably $80-100 to get back downtown. Get a room at the Marriott or the Westin right next to Cynthia woods.

Know someone who paid $92 one way for Uber from downtown to Magnolia recently. Won’t be much less to The Woodlands.

Marriott is sold out and Westin is $368/night.
Found a few places a few miles north but they are around 150 a night.
