I bought the boat second hand, and it had a seat pedastal installed (with cracks in the gel coat all around it) so i dont want to pull it up.

Not wanting to drill more holes, all I do is use a turn buckle with a S hook pushed through the pedestal hole and it catches on the side. that is my boat anchor point.
