Using and old iPhone 6

I just upgraded to a X, it stil have my old 6. Is it possible to be able to download apps on the 6 so my son can use it for games? It says no service in the top left corner. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

You'll want to set up a separate icloud account for your son, otherwise he'd have access to your imessages and other apps. Here's an article on how you can setup a phone for wifi only use, LINK If you aren't taking out your old sim card it might be as simple as changing the icloud account settings, but it's been a while since I did this so don't quote me on that.

Thanks. We tried to download a couple of apps and the wheel would just spin and never start downloading. My son is 6 and he uses it for Cozmo and other learning games.
