I've got a 2005 Nissan Titan that this is happening to in multiple spots, but mostly on horizontal surfaces. It seems to bubble up really fast after wet leaves have fallen on it and the sun comes out. I've started to try to keep the leaves off of it, and it seems to have helped.
It looks like shite, but I've only got 94,000 miles on it and it runs like a champ.

Also another problem with peeling clearcoat is, the exposed paint underneath it has no UV protection. Only the clearcoat has UV protection, so the exposed paint will fade and not match the paint where the clear didn't peel off.
It really pisses me off that auto manufacturers can't get this shite right. And for the record, I've seen it on pretty much every brand.
