I'm not even sure that you can find deer hunting rounds in 125g .308. I'd thing those would be a varmit bullet.
If you aren't getting pass throughs it's because you're using ballistic tips. Get something with a Barnes TSX, Nosler Partition or a 168 gr bullet.
