I'm surprised at all the people who want him back between this thread and the other one. I get that you feel he's an asset but truthfully if you want him back for recruiting he's become a liability. If I know I'm up against him for a recruit I'm highlighting his lack of loyalty and asking how LSU can be such a great place if the person wanting you to go there keeps wanting out.

We created a position for him - he left. We offered him a raise - he left. Also since 2013 we average 9-4 seasons with a trophy case filled with Texas bowl, Citrus Bowl, and Capital One bowl trophies. We shouldn't be married to anyone who has been part of that mediocrity.

Exactly. This guy isn't loyal. The TD love affair with him is quite surprising, especially after doing this a few times.

It is amazing how people who never played say a Citrus Bowl is mediocre

This is ridiculous. The guy left for a promotion to USC and hated it so he came back. Then he was going to leave for his dream job and it isn’t working out. Absolutely no reason to not take him back if he wants to come back. He’s great at what he does; let him continue doing it.

spin that shite. just like every coach.

"I wanted to go home, UT is a great place and I love it, always have, but LSU is simply too special to walk away from, we're too close to greatness again, I want to see that through."

there. thats all he has to say. it might not even be lying, we dont actually know all the details yet, but if it is.... frick it, dont care. lying works. thats why its so popular.
