Why can't Universities just say...New Memo - we don't respect religious symbols of any kind. That's our respecticing religious diversity by disrepescting all religions.

But no that would seem oppresive and bigoted if Islamic students didn't get excused from class during the weeks of Ramadan like when I was in College. They got like three weeks excused absence.

Hell the black students only got 1 day excused absence. MLK day in College.

The White kids got marked absent if they didn't attend all days. No Christian holiday mattered to the administration.
