re: Any of you baws had sinus surgery?

Had a nasal polyp removed twice. First time he went in through the nose to cut and scrape it out. It came back so the second time he cut between my gum and lip and went through that way to be sure all the polyp was removed. As someone said earlier, not being able to breath through my nose was down right miserable. Surgery and recovery were a breeze. Made the mistake of leaving the packing in after surgery the first time as dr insisted to. When it was time to remove it I felt like he was pulling my brain through my nostril. Second surgery the first thing I did was pull the packing out as soon as I got home.
