I didn't see that at all.

TLJ was the deconstruction of the established religion and of the natural order of the SW galaxy. There is nothing subtle about the agenda. It was extreme fringe left SJW. It is the post-modern deconstruction of the United States, where all straight white men are evil, sexist, bigoted racist simply by existing, only women are competent and all minorities are oppressed. Luke was the last remaining icon of the past that had to be destroyed (Tearing down statues), along with his religion, to make way for the nihilist world view of the extreme left.

Take everything the extreme left stands for, slap a Star Wars label on it and call it The Last Jedi.

Other than that, it was a horrible movie on every level; plot-less, filled with WTF plot devices and a textbook Mary Sue as the protagonist.
