Kareem was gonna do Kareem regardless he averaged 24-13 on 58% shooting the season prior and was already old AF for NBA standards at the time, Kareem was Cap when Magic joined the Lakers and Magic was the rook and that was the dynamic for the next 7 seasons: Lakers relied on Kareem for clutch plays and scoring and great interior defense and Magic to give him the ball and be a distributor, Kareem doesn't do what he does that team goes NOWHERE and that's simply facts bro and to argue otherwise is being disingenuous.
