But you’re also diminishing how great Magic was. It was lightning in a bottle. Kareem was great but so was Magic...they’re both legends.

The thing is we don't know what would've happened had Magic not played for the Lakers, the year preceding his draft Kareem averaged 24-13 on 58% shooting and that team was a playoff team maybe he still does that without him for a few more years but that's hypothetical and the synergy of those guys was pretty amazing no doubt
