Not sure your example is helping you out here. Capitalism is working, and the safeguards against abuse, ie LAWS, prevailed. That's just based on your one sentence blurb without knowing the details.
Why do some of you think Government intervention in a market is a good thing this time? It's failed the public every time it's been tried.
