I just feel like that's creating a very slippery slope regarding players and bowl games. Pretty soon we're going to get to a point where all the starters shut it down and get ready for the draft. This is particularly bad for teams like LSU that typically produce a high volume of NFL talent. When we're losing to the UCFs of the world because all our starters shut it down and we're playing all freshman, it's going to look bad and it's going to impact recruiting going into the offseason.

Why stop at bowl games? The season was over for LSU after losing to Miss State and Troy. Should have just kicked out all the seniors and NFL ready juniors.

well then get ready for it

we all know that CFB is big business

the kids know it too

simple risk management at this point

the NFL knows it too. they want the best, and healthiest, assets as well
