I don’t trust any of this stuff any longer until I see with my own eyes a quarterback play in real competition and in more than 1-2 games.

I have been burned too many times with this elite passing academy stuff or the Manning stuff. Also, while quarterback coaching is always important, so is the mental aspect each quarterback displays. All this strong arm BS means little if the guy can’t read D’s or can’t handle pressure.

I wish we had seen more play from our reserve QB. There were opportunities in our last few games for MB to get playing time that wasn’t taken vantage of and I don’t understand why. It would seem that if we had a really talented QB this season waiting in the wings, that QB would’ve seen more playing time for a number of different reasons.

I guess there’s always hope and always wait till next year.
