LSU looked much better at the end of the year. That Miss state team and that Troy team look to be pretty good at this time.
We were a different team then. LSU could compete with anyone today. Once LSU gets a half decent QB we will win lots of games period. I think the coaches believe they have that QB but he needs some game experience and hell some first team reps will probably do him wonders. He came in late and I'm impressed that he could at least run the offense.
All he needs to do is get prepared for the speed of the game and to know which throws he can make and can't against these fast defense's. Practice will prepare him some but once the season starts he will need to be ready. No cupcakes next year to start the year which is unfortunate for him. I think our ground game will be better than most think and Canada will probably have a better set of offensive players next year to work with overall. The OL will be damn good so if LSU can somehow figure out how to get these WRs polished and the QB/WR tandem to perform at a high level together, LSU will have a great year next year.
