"I am the search Alleva" devalued this program by hiring a DL Coach without bona fide occupational qualifications. Alleva fired Miles with the explicit goal of hiring an Offensive-Minded Coach with the credentials to compete with Saban. That was not done.

LSU faced a Top 5 SOS in 2015 and Miles landed the #2 Recruiting Class. 2017 was historically low 42 SOS + or - whether you take into account SORecord and SOResume. The current Recruiting Class is #12 with 19 commits...Texas is #2 with 18 commits.

Talent does not win: Coaching/QBs/Offense wins.

LSU has had top 5 Talent Composite for 5 yrs and barely made the Top 20 this year and for the past 6 yrs, dropping out of it in 2014. His Offense was StoneAge.

You can choose to be a homer, Rantard, "posi-tiger", and back Alleva or you can look objectively and analytically and advocate for what is best for LSU.

After 16 seasons under the leadership of first, Nick Saban and then Les Miles, up to 2011 LSU returned to national prominence. Alleva may have given all of that back with the hiring of Orgeron. His top qualifications for the job seem to have been he was interested, he was available and he’s from Louisiana."

In reality, the criticism aimed at "O' is really just a shot at LSU Athletic Director Joe Alleva who "rushed to hire a man with no other offers and a career 3-21 SEC coaching record."
