No, they are all right.

You can leave a semi in the same condition as a revolver, pick it up and pull the trigger. People who carry and put their lives on the line are ok with the reliability of semi autos. You see any professionals carrying revolvers?


OP... I have an LCR, similar in weight to an air weight. With 38s it sucks to shoot. Nothing nice about it. No reason to go with a super light pistol to keep in the house.

That's completely different. Those professionals have to prepare for a gun battle. You rarely ever hear about a robber and a home owner having a shoot out.
