Please explain. If it’s that serious and involves a physical touch, then it’s assault. Sexual harassment is typically verbal. Inappropriate doesn’t necessarily mean it’s harassment.

ETA: I understand that it’s possible for harassment to be physical, I’m just curious how it would skip directly to harassment with the first incident, without it being related to strings attached employment, etc...

If you go straight up to a woman with whom you have a working relationship and no prior romantic ties and ask her to frick or perform other sexual acts with you then it is inappropriate and falls under sexual harassment. Especially if the guy is a superior then the request is a threatening action in itself because it is hanging over the employees head that not complying can be used against her. It is naturally pressuring. Really the sexes of the two people could be reversed. This is a far cry from asking a coworker on a date and getting rejected.

Did you really not know that you can't do that?
