As an independent voter; ask yourself if you are okay with someone who believes a fetus one day away from birth could be aborted.

No, I am not OK with killing an innocent human being. Is this something that Doug Jones believes in?

Planned Parenthood v. Casey pretty much says that this can't happen. That case says the state could promote its interest in the "potentiality of human life" by regulating, or possibly proscribing, abortion "except where it is necessary, in appropriate medical judgment, for the preservation of the life or health of the mother."

So quit your fear mongering.

I think the biggest reason to vote against Moore is that he was fired twice from government position for failure to perform his job by refusal of removing the ten commandments monument and his decision to promote his personal religious beliefs over established law.

This man wants to create a theocracy and believes that the bible supersedes the constitution. He has argued the first amendment only protects those of Christian faith and that only people of certain religions should be allowed to serve in congress.

This is why he shouldn't be elected and why you should vote for Jones.

Look this is the one time the Dems will hold that seat and it'll flip back to the Republicans in the next election, but we don't want someone who thinks his personal religious beliefs take precedent over the law and the constitution.

Doug Jones does not believe a woman should be able to have an abortion after 20 weeks unless the mothers life is in danger, so what you said is not true. He simply is ok with keeping the law the same. It's ok to disagree with his opinion on abortion, but don't come here spreading lies.

quote:

"I fully support a woman's freedom to choose to what happens to her own body," Jones said. "Having said that, the law for decades has been that late-term procedures are generally restricted except in the case of medical necessity. That's what I support. I don't see any changes in that."
