Definitely fewer fights. Two reasons: 1) much less booze being brought into the stadium b/c of stricter policy. In the 80's, we could walk in with a cup full of bourbon and an easily hidden flask. This, by the way, is the main reason students leave at halftime. If they were more lax about the alcohol, students would stick around. They would also entertain everyone else by fighting more, so that's a win/win. 2) Bigger police presence. In the student section, they constantly look up at the crowd. If anyone looks wasted or acts up, they pull them out.
